Head Coach - Jacqueline Martin-Lacey
Jacqueline is a graduate of the University of Texas, where she swam for the Texas Longhorns. She attended the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Trials where she swam the 100m and 200m butterfly. In 2007 and 2009, Jacqueline attended the NCAA Championships. She has numerous commendations and awards accumulated over her high school and college swimming career. Jacqueline worked for many summers as a lifeguard and a private lesson instructor in Nashville, Tennessee. She comes from a large family with siblings ages 7, 10, 12,13 and 23. She currently is a nanny for a family with twin 3-year olds. Jacqueline’s plans include working as a pediatric or neonatal nurse.
Coach Brittany Sacco Brittany is a senior at the University of Texas majoring in Sociology with an Educational Psychology minor. She swam for the Texas Longhorns from 2005 to 2007, and she competed in the 200m breaststroke at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials. She was also part of the 400m medley relay at the 2008 U.S. Open. During her high school years, Brittany was undefeated in the 100y breaststroke at the UIL 4A state meet with four successive years (2002 thru 2005); she still holds the state record in that event. She was involved with coaching Special Olympics every year throughout high school. Brittany still holds the TAGS records in the 50m and 100m breaststroke for the 10 & under age group. She is also the current TAGS record holder for the 11-12 age group in the 100m breaststroke. She was an athlete representative for North Texas Swimming and USA Swimming from 2003 to 2005, serving on a committee each year. Brittany’s brother, Tommy, was an All-American swimmer at the University of Texas and her sister, Natalie, is a current All-American swimmer for the Lady Longhorns.
